ด้วยเมื่อวันที่ 19 เมษายน 2556 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครกว่างโจว ได้ร่วมกิจกรรม ASEAN Friendship Bowling Games 2013 ที่หอโบว์ลิงเทียนเหอ ศูนย์กีฬาเทียนเหอ นครกว่างโจว งานครั้งนี้จัดโดยสถานกงสุลใหญ่อินโดนีเซีย ณ นครกว่างโจว

         หลังจากนาย Gantosori Tanjung รักษาการ กงสุลใหญ่อินโดนีเซีย ณ นครกว่างโจว กล่าวเปิดงาน ทีมผู้เข้าแข่งขันทั้ง 14 ทีม แต่ละทีมประกอบด้วยผู้เข้าแข่งขันจาก 2 ประเทศ เล่นโบว์ลิ่งเก็บคะแนนไปพร้อมกัน สำหรับประเทศไทยนำทีมโดยนางสุพัตรา ศรีไมตรีพิทักษ์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครกว่างโจว ข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ สำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ และนักศึกษาฝึกงาน ร่วมแข่งขัน

         มีเจ้าหน้าที่ของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ประเทศอาเซียนและครอบครัวที่ไม่ได้แข่งขันร่วมชมและเชียร์ประเทศของตน และแต่ละประเทศได้ร่วมกันจัดอาหารและเครื่องดื่มสำหรับเป็นของว่างในช่วงการแข่งขัน

         กิจกรรมดังกล่าวประสบผลสำเร็จอย่างดียิ่งในการเป็นเวทีพบปะสังสรรค์และกระชับความสัมพันธ์ในบรรยากาศที่เป็นกันเองของคณะกงสุลอาเซียนทั้งในระดับกงสุลใหญ่และเจ้าหน้าที่ สถานกงสุลใหญ่อาเซียนในนครกว่างโจวทั้ง 7 แห่ง (นครกว่างโจวไม่มี สถานกงสุลใหญ่ลาว พม่า และบรูไน) จัดกิจกรรมร่วมกันทุกปีเพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์ในคณะกงสุลอาเซียน ณ นครกว่างโจว

       Consulate General in Guangzhou joined ASEAN Friendship Bowling Games 2013.

         On 19 April 2013, the Consulate-General in Guangzhou, joined ASEAN Friendship Bowling Games 2013 at the Tianhe Bowling Hall, Tianhe Sport Center, Guangzhou. The event was organised by the Consulate General of Indonesia in Guangzhou.  

         After the opening remarks by Mr. Gantosori Tanjung, Acting Consul-General of Indonesia, all the 14 teams started played and competed for the highest scores at the same time. Each team comprised 4 persons, two each from two ASEAN countries. Thailand’s two teams were led by Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Consul-General to Guangzhou, with the Consulate’s officials and trainees joining. The rest of consulate’s staff and family members enjoyed cheering for their countries. Each country also bought food and beverage to share during the event.

            The event was very successful as a venue to casually meet and network at all levels among the diplomatic community of 7 ASEAN countries. The ASEAN Consulates-General in Guangzhou (without Laos, Myanmar and Brunei) organise an activity annually to strengthen their relations among the ASEAN diplomatic community in Guangzhou.
